MER Connecticut assisted in Connecticut Pequabuck River Watershed Council's Source to Sea Cleanup

As part of Moran Environmental Recovery (MER)'s Environmental Stewardship & Community Involvement Program, MER Newtown assisted in the Connecticut River Watershed Council's Source to Sea Cleanup for the communities of Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, Harwinton, Plainville and Plymouth, CT. The clean-up took place on Saturday, October 8th. MER supplied a roll-off truck and container, in addition to 9 volunteer personnel to assist in the clean-up and load out of waste material. Approximately 2 tons of trash were removed from both sites, in addition to scrap metal which will be recycled for re-use.
